I woke my sleeping "nestlings" from their cozy holiday slumbers so they could get ready for school.
After they were all ready the "husbird" drove them to school and then drove them back home and let me know there is NO school today. What!
I obviously got the dates wrong on my calendar and now I feel sorry for my kids who kind of got cheated out of a day off school because I messed up. Whoops.
I guess we got a head start on our day. I guess we'll go to the gym, take down the Christmas tree, do some laundry, and who knows what else...?
Hopefully this isn't a sign of how the rest of my year will go.
