Baby Preparations

You're probably sick of hearing or seeing baby this and baby that, but this is my life right now and I'm doing my best to embrace it because I think this is it for me,
as far as baby bearing goes, so I better enjoy it, right!?

I'm not sure if there is anything quite as motivating as having a fifth child
to get things done. It has pushed me to do things I've put off for years.

I finally went to the basement and pulled out the newborn container.
I didn't know if it would ever see the light of day again, but here it is
full of all things newborn. Reality is hitting home.
I bought this car seat canopy from BabiesRus, which was only twenty$,
versus the one I liked on amazon for fifty.
It's very practical and looks really cute on.
We didn't have to set up the crib since we never took it down. When we put "D" in a bed we already knew we were pregnant and so we figured we'd just leave it up.
I washed the bedding and put the bumper pads back on, even though the baby will be in a port-a-crib in our room for awhile.
*****************************
Yesterday I kidnapped "A" from school and today I stole "T" to take them to lunch to spend a little bit of one of one time with them before the baby arrives.
They both can't wait for the baby to come.
Miss "A" hugs my belly multiple times a day.
Last night they were chanting...."Go into Labor, Go into Labor".....over and over.
They keep hoping to see Grandma after school to pick them up.
Any day now...
