because today I went to Costco, Winco, and Walmart in super cold, very windy weather. My oh my, the lines! The lines! At Winco, which was by far the worst, the line started at the back of the store, the very back. I am not exaggerating, the things I'll do for a few free items. I'm starting to question my sanity. I lifted thirty pound "D" in and out of his carseat no less than ten times, not great on my very pregnant body. Luckily I was prepared with a little pillow and blanket for him to lay on and so he fell asleep in two of the three stores unaware of the groceries being piled around him. It has taken me a few years, but I finally learned that it's best to leave a little pillow in the car for errands. It has saved me so many times from many melt downs from tired toddlers.
All in all "D" and I survived out outing and were on time to pick up the other "nestlings" from school. I made hot chocolate for "T" and his friend and listened to their conversation as they sipped and talked. It was so funny to listen to them talk about random things. "T' said,"It's taken me two years to learn all the swear words. Every time someone would say, I almost said the "A" word I would wonder what the "A" word was." I couldn't help but let out a little giggle and feel happy that it took him that long to learn words he doesn't need to know anyways.
There is a blizzard blowing in and I feel so thankful for a warm home full of healthy "nestlings," a "husbird" who's busily making a living for our family so I can spend time running my somewhat insane errands to fill our frig with food to keep our bellies happy over this Thanksgiving season.
I'm blessed indeed.

Sorry I've missed so many of your great posts! Love your wedding gifts--oh to be you! Darling Alyssa. Sarah is in a big dilemma about missing her baptism for the ward party. Sad they conflict. We have to sing (oh dear oh dear) or we'd work it out for sure. Taylor is so sweet-I need to do better at documenting like you do! Hope you're feeling well!
