Twenty weeks down,
Twenty more to go.
The only thing I've craved this pregnancy is water.
I drink lots and lots of water, which unfortunately makes it so I spend more and more time in the bathroom, but hey I'm there anyways since I'm potty training little "D."
Somedays it feels like that is where I spend half my day.
I've had the weirdest pregnancy side effect since about sixteen weeks.
My ears are plugged up most of the time.
I can only hear about half of what I normally do.
I feel very self-concious since I can't tell how loud I'm talking.
I don't know if I'm yelling or whispering.
I've had a couple of mini-panick attacks because it makes me feel claustrophobic.
My doctor said it's probably just because during pregnancy your mucous membranes
work overtime and this is how it has effected me.
I haven' t had this problem with my other pregnancies.
I hope it's not permanent.
On a happy note, I lost four pounds in the six weeks between doctor's appointments.
I was pretty happy, since I've never lost weight with any other pregnancy.
I still have gained about a pound a week, that tells you how much I ate my first trimester and I'm measuring a week bigger than I am.
I had the same problem when I was pregnant with Oliver. I thought I was going deaf and it totally freaked me out. It was like that for about ten weeks. Then one morning I woke up and I could hear. Hang in there!
ReplyDeleteYou look really cute! I love your boots.
ReplyDeleteLast winter I got a cold where one of my ears got totally plugged and the other got partially plugged and I couldn't hear ANYTHING out of the one side. It lasted almost 2 months, and it was awful. Very awful. It is so frustrating not being able to hear!! So I hope this goes away really quickly for you!
I have noticed that I always have more of a stuffy nose when I'm preggo, so that is probably the same type of thing.
