I forgot how "all" consuming potty training is.
I have been changing diapers for ten years now with no break and I could really use a few months off before I start again,
so I'm hard at work taking little "D" to the potty what feels like fifty times a day.
He's been pretty much half dressed the last couple of weeks.

I swear he has the smallest bladder ever and he won't go on his own.
I have to be there because he wants his piece of candy the minute the pee comes out.
He may have rotten teeth by the time he's done, but he'll know how to use the potty.
He routinely watches Potty Power dvd. It's a great video for potty training.
It's just annoying when you have all the songs memorized
because you've listened to them way too many times.
I think he's mastered pee, but not poop. He's too scared.

I refuse to buy another diaper until the next baby arrives.
Speaking of diapers, has anyone used cloth diapers and liked them?
I've been thinking about using them for the new baby, am I crazy?

Oh man, good luck with the potty training thing - it will be nice not to have 2 kids in diapers, eh?
ReplyDeleteI read a blog I love and the mom uses cloth diapers - so I found her post on them, so here it is: http://prairie-mama.blogspot.com/2009/05/all-about-cloth-and-giveaway.html
