On the Grill

Barbecued Chicken

1 cup soy sauce
1/4 cup water
1 cup brown sugar
thumb size ginger
2 cloves garlic, minced
chicken breasts or tenders

Marinate chicken in the sauce overnight or boil the chicken in the sauce for a few minutes and then put the chicken on the grill for 2 to 3 minutes each side.

I love this recipe because it's so versatile and tasty.
I usually make a big batch and serve it one night with rice and the next night I cut it up and serve it over greens, with corn, tortilla chips and ranch dressing.
I never remember to marinate it overnight and so
I use my food saver hand held vacuum.
I suck all the air out and it's done marinating in 20 minutes.
