Getting through this stage

This is not how I want to feel. I want to enjoy and savor every second of my last baby, but he's making it really hard. Sigh.
Today at the grocery store he was eating the grapes, mashing the grapes, using the bananas as a phone. That was all fine and well until he started throwing things out of the cart, out went the cucumber and the bag of salad and he almost tossed a dozen eggs.
He refuses to sit in the front or back of the cart. He either wants to be held or stand up in the back of the cart, which scares me to death! I worry about him falling out on his head. It's getting impossible to shop with him.
Last week he broke a glass bulb that I used to water plants. Then he came to me with an empty bottle of nail polish in his hand. He had poured half of it on the carpet and the other half on the tile floor. Luckily it was clear, but it was brand new. Sniff.
Both items he broke were within his reach, my bad.
If you came to my house you might think I'm getting ready to move because I've had to clear most surfaces. He pushed or pulled everything off and I finally got tired of putting things back or things getting broken.
He climbs up on my desk chair and pulls papers off my desk.
One day we couldn't find miss "A's" glasses anywhere.
We finally found them in the garbage.
Guess who put them there?
It's a good thing we all think he's so cute!
He definitely keeps me on my toes and makes every day an adventure:)
