The Most Delicious CornBread

My father-in-law gave me this delicious recipe.
It tastes like the appetizer "Sweet Corn Tamales" at the Cheesecake factory,
which I love and it's super easy to make.
1 CUP YELLOW CORNMEAL
1/2 CUP ALL PURPOSE FLOUR
1/2 CUP SUGAR
1 TEASPOON SALT
1/2 TEASPOON BAKING SODA
1 MEDIUM ONION CHOPPED
1 (15 OUNCES) CAN CREAMED CORN

1 (15 OUNCES ) CAN WHOLE-KERNEL CORN DRAINED
1 (15 0UNCES ) CAN BLACK-EYES PEAS DRAINED
(I substituted a can of green chiles instead)
1 TABLESPOON BAKING POWDER
2 EGGS
1 CUP BUTTERMILK

1/2 CUP OIL

Preheat the oven to 350 F, grease a 9 by 13 inch baking dish
In a large bowl mix all the ingredients together. Pour the prepared dish and bake for 25 to 35 minutes or until golden brown. Cool 30 minutes before serving.

You can eat it plain, which is still delish, or add your favorite toppings, which for us happens to be sour cream, cilantro, diced tomatoes, and avocado.
