To set the scene: Nine year old "T" is recording two year old "D" climbing up a mountain of clean clothes, waiting to be put away, at the foot of the bed.
P.S. To my mother in law, I found your Paperwhites and they are residing in my bedroom until you come pick them up this summer.

Fruit pizza..
yummy, yummy!
This is the most delicious fruit pizza recipe, perfect for the summer.
I found it on allrecipes.com.
Sometimes I make it on a pizza stone, but more often than not I make it in a 9x13 pan.
1/2 cup butter, softened
3/4 cup white sugar
1 egg
1 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon cream of tartar
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
1/4 teaspoon salt
1 (8 ounce) package cream cheese
1/2 cup white sugar
2 teaspoons vanilla extract

He'll put a spell on you
Just in case you need to preform some spells in the future,
here's an email I got from my nine year old "T" this week, (misspelled words and all).
Body of the email read:
Here are all the spells I know
Expeliomose- is a fore on an object
Impirio-makes he or she obey the cerser
Crusio-tourchers he or she
Reducto-makes the object the spell hits turn to dust
Eronea eggsamay-makes a fore on a object
Avada kadabra-kills almost any living thing
Feravertoe-make an object to into a new thing
Wingardia leviousa-make an object rise into the air
Stupifi-makes any living thing stuned
Sent from my iPod
End of Email.
It's good to know he's learning something useful from reading all those Harry Potter books.

Little Brother
It was my brother's birthday yesterday.
Here's a picture of me holding him when he was a baby.
Don't I look perplexed as to why he's crying?
Maybe it's because I'm about to drop him.
At least I'm wearing a cute polka dot shirt, right?
Anyways, he's not so little anymore and one of the things I love about him is that
we both share the same enjoyment for thrift shopping and bargain hunting.
Most of our phone conversations involve one of us telling the other about a good deal we found or to tell each other to be on the look out for something
we want at the thrift store.

Speaking of my brother, his in-laws live out in the country, so every year for their children's birthdays they have a party there. A few weeks ago we went to my niece's birthday party and a neighbor brought over a horse and
all the children got to have a ride.
(Miss "A")
Then they all got to hit this butterfly piƱata and
my brother pulled them around in a little trailer behind a riding lawn mower.
I think he enjoyed it as much as the kids, but don't tell him I said so.
My brother's kids love this tradition of the same thing each birthday.
There's no debating what to do each birthday and it's inexpensive and fun.
They probably won't want this same party when they're teenagers,
but then they can move on to bigger and better things, like this...
skydiving.
Not.
There is a small airport behind their house and so this is what we see every time we're at a party there.
Hopefully the little kids don't get any ideas, because I know my big kid has.

Jump Around....
Some trampoline fun on mother's day weekend.
Yes I'm very behind, but it's the weekend.
Wait, did I already say that?
Wishing you a great one!

Burn Out
Are moms allowed to have melt downs?
Well, allowed or not I had one this morning.
I couldn't quit crying. The tears just kept flowing.
I wasn't even real sure why I was crying.
I knew what set it off. Do you ever do that? I don't very often,
maybe once or twice a year. Sometimes I just need a good cry.
I dropped "C" off at preschool and little "D" and I went to the new Hobby Lobby that opened this week ten minutes from my house. Yippee!
Retail therapy always helps cure a case of the blues.
I only spent seven dollars, but it it helped lift my mood.
(more flowers from my boy)
I've been going non-stop for the last few weeks and it's finally catching up to me.
I know some people can do that, but I can't. I need down time.
I have a hard time transitioning from being really busy to
taking a break here and there, especially when there is no time to take one.
I'm like a top, once I get spinning I just keep going and going until I collapse.
That's what happened today, I finally came tumbling down in a heap of emotions
I don't normally feel.
Too many things to do coupled with stress from different things in life right now aren't a good combination and next week is going to be crazy as well.
Thank Goodness for Prayer
and
a loving and supportive "husbird."

Busy, Busy
I've missed blogging lately.
I've been busy filling out applications.
We got notice that our health insurance rates are being hiked up so we decided it was time to start shopping different companies, one of the joys of being self-employed.

Teenagers Again
The "husbird" and I turned thirteen today.
We're past the childhood of our marriage and we're now into our teen years.
Yea!
Do you remember how excited you were to become a teenager?
The "husbird" made me the most delicious omelet for breakfast.
