Multiple Choice
What do you do when you find out your in-laws are coming to visit in one and a half days?
A. Freak out because your house is a disaster because life has been very busy lately
B. Break out the Halloween candy (the chocolate of course), plop down on the couch, and indulge
C. Get dizzy turning in circles because you don't know where to start to make the house presentable
D. Get off the computer and actually clean something
E. Try to relax, do what you can, and enjoy their visit
F. All the above
The "nestlings" are going to be so excited. I can't wait to tell them.

Conversation on Death with a Four year Old
Four year old "C" over heard a brief conversation I had with the "husbird" about a teacher that died in a car accident on a school activity in a near by town.
A few minutes later in the car---
"C":Is the teacher in the hospital mommy?
Me: No sweetie, she died. She is in heaven.
"C": Will she wake up soon?
Me: No sweetheart, she died and went to live with Heavenly Father.
"C": Will she come back alive?
Me: Not until Jesus comes again.
"C": When will Jesus come again?
Me: I don't know "C"
"C": Did her get killed by a gun?
Me: No she died in a car accident.
"C": Mommy she should have waited for the green light.

Fall Fluffing
I guess it's because I am so behind on other things around my house that putting those things off to decorate for fall seemed like a poor use of time.
Any one feel this way?
Well, my six year old "A" finally talked me into it.

Well, my six year old "A" finally talked me into it.
I hung a small fall leaf wreath over a mirror,
added pumpkins and fall colored books to the mantle.
What house would be complete without a twiggy Halloween tree and a Haunted House?

Piano Lesson Banter

At piano lessons recently
after "T" finished playing
"In the Light of the Moon"
(Au Claire de la Lune)
His piano teacher said,
"Well that doesn't sound like anything to do with the moon.
It sounds like an army at war."
"T", "Well it can be an army preparing for war in the moonlight."
Piano Teacher,"but, they have to be quiet so their enemies don't hear them."
The things this sweet lady has to do to get
an antsy little boy
to play the piano correctly are
truly commendable.
She humors him
alot.
